Summary

SnapchatSPlus Optimizer is built so that your PC's data stays on your PC. There are no accounts, no analytics trackers and no advertising.

Data that stays on your computer

• System information (Windows version, hardware, usage metrics), process lists, startup entries, installed apps, file and folder names.
• The recovery journal with original and applied setting values, saved profiles, settings and logs (in %LOCALAPPDATA%\SnapchatSPlus).
• When you use the web dashboard, this data travels from the app on your PC directly to your browser via 127.0.0.1. It does not pass through our servers.

Data our website receives

• Standard web server and hosting logs (IP address, user agent, requested page, time), used for security and operations and kept by our hosting provider for a limited time according to their policy.
• Requests to /api/v1/* (health, release and catalog information). These contain no PC data.

Browser storage

The dashboard stores your theme, your tweak selection and — after pairing — an access token in your browser's local storage. They are not sent to our servers. Unpair in Settings to remove the token.

Support exports

If you export logs to share with support, the file is created on your PC with user name, computer name and tokens replaced. You decide whether and with whom to share it.

Your rights

Because we don't store personal data about you beyond hosting logs, most requests can be fulfilled by deleting the local folder above. For questions about hosting logs, contact the operator (contact details to be added).
