Known limitations

  • The installer is not code-signed yet. Windows SmartScreen will show "Windows protected your PC" — choose More info → Run anyway only after checking the SHA-256 below.
  • The app opens a console window that shows the pairing code; closing it stops the app.
  • The desktop window uses Microsoft Edge in app mode. A native Tauri shell is prepared but not yet built.
  • Per-app energy usage and Task Manager's startup impact are not available through public Windows APIs and are shown as unsupported.
  • Safari blocks connections from websites to local apps; use Edge, Chrome or Firefox for the web dashboard, or the desktop window.
  • Registry and command output parsing has been tested on English and Dutch Windows; other display languages may show raw values in some diagnostics.
